If you're in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe area of New Mexico this weekend, come see me and over 100 items at the PLACITAS HOLIDAY FINE ARTS & CRAFT SALE, SATURDAY & SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22 & 23 from 10 to 5. I'll have my booth set up in at SITE 3, the Elementary School, just inside the door. If any of you can make it to this show, it is definitely worth your while! It's a juried show and easily equals the larger Albuquerque craft shows, but in a much more pleasant setting.

I make one-of-a-kind talismanic jewelry using simple connections and unusual materials. Everything is done almost entirely with simple hand tools. I think of my pieces as little artifacts brought across from a luminous spirit world in the desert dreamtime...with sort of a "desert wabi-sabi" feel to them. Many of my buyers in shows say that my pieces "feel good" or have a sense of peace about them. The tactile element is a very important part of my work; it's designed to be something you enjoy touching and wearing.
